Mass

Their voices rose in perfect harmony, tenor and base twining around each other, the young voices of innocence. Bryan and Mark stood in the chancel of the chapel where they had always gone to church, dressed in matching robes. It was the last time that they would be singing in public as altar boys. The melody crescendo effortlessly.

R. Amen.

Dómine, in unióne illíus divínæ intentiónis, qua ipse in terris laudes Deo persolvísti, hanc tibi Horam persólvo.

Awww. How old are they? That's pretty awesome. Twin choir boys. Note: base is not the same as bass.

...What makes a voice sound innocent? Is it the crystal clarity of each note, that rings, bell-like, on the air? Why was it their last time, anyway?

Thanks for the notes, I'm only half focused at the moment. I knew something wasn't right. The last time because they are getting to old to be choir boys.
