"What is it that you want?" she asked. "Money? Fame? Popularity?"
"Acceptance and understanding," he said. "It's not that difficult to understand."
"It's hard to understand you when you're half my age and twice as smart as me," she said.
He peered up at her. "Is that weird?"
"For now. Give yourself a few years and I'll look you up."
"What does that mean?"
"It means you'll be hot in a few years, kid, and I'm patient."
